Bridal Alterations

Bridal alterations are a very specialised area of sewing and I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to build a career by doing what I love. From a young age I’ve been focused and goal driven. When I had a vision for my professional future, I decided to make it happen.

Based in the beautiful village of Doveridge in the Derbyshire Dales I am please to be able to offer my unique skills in bridal alterations. 

​

I operate in 20 mile radius of a cute little Derbyshire Village called Doveridge, covering Stafford, Derby and surrounding villages, including Uttoxeter, Tutbury, Ashbourne, Sudbury, Cannock, Rolleston on Dove.

Many gowns bought will usually need altering in some way, usually the hem and the bodice will need adjustment in some way, some may need a complete overhaul, sometimes you just need the right seamstress.

Prices start from £95.00 for basic hems including bustles (those handy little pick up points to help you dance the night away).

With average prices for hems, side seams & bustles around £200 - £250.00. Obviously every dress is different and every alteration is unique to the bride.

Due to the intricacies of bridal alterations I work exclusively with brides but I am more than happy to recommend professionals who can alter your maids and Mother of the Bride outfits.
